I agree with Automobiliac. In fact, if I was going to

plunk down $50k on a watch (oops, fat chance of that happening, lol), I would have spent a grand or two flying out to inspect the goods in person. I do feel bad for the buyer but geez, $50k for something sight unseen from a private seller with no real reputation in the watch marketplace? Caveat emptor!
