In some ways part 2 was more interesting for me to write too. I knew pretty much what I wanted to write for p1, but the 2nd part needed much more investigation so was more of a journey of discovery for me. Plus David's there to catch it when my lack of knowledge of the early TAG years lets me down!

I know gold et al aren't everyone's bag, but I do approve of TAG's more exuberant use of materials than Heuer - shame that can't go back in time and inform Heuer's design the same way that classic Heuer design can inform the modern watches. As much a reflection of changing fashion, and ambition, as anything, it still doesn't stop me hankering after that rose gold 2546!
