SCAN DAY POSTER PIC-3 Second Stopwatch *LINK* *PIC*

This is a pic of my most favorite stop watch that I have collected. It is in very minty condition.

Two reasons why I like this. As you (may) know I am involved in auto racing as a serious hobby. This watch really helps me to visualize the meaning of how lpon a second really is. When the seconds hand is sweeping around you can actually see how long a second is. I do use this visual memory at the track while I am mentally driving a lap(in the pits) and it helps me to see how I can make up time.

Now the second reason, as continued from the calculator posting. Get this, for my senior project at engineering school, I used an NE555 chip, large scale Nixie tubes for readouts and made an electronic stopwatch with light sensor trigger for car timing.

Guess it was destiny that I would end up here.

PS: Yeah I know I can see my relection in the crystal. Oh well, more practice needed. LOL
