Heuer in WatchTime Mag. June Issue *LINK*

Sorry, I've been too busy with photography to post this, but in the latest issue of WatchTime Mag, June issue, there is not one but two mentions of our favorite watches.

First on page 22 in the WatchTalk section, there is a review of the new Tag Heuer Indy 500 watch. The article mentions that in February, Tag Heuer was appointed the official timekeeper and scorer to the Indy 500 race.

What is notable about this is the fact that they wil be timing the race to 1/10,000 of a second. WOW, I am just worried about tenths when I race. Anyway, The piece continues on with some other facts of note such as Tag Heuer has timed over 190 Formula One races in the last 13 years. (So how come Michael Schumacher endorses Omega watches with a commemorative model for each of his 6 F1 Championships?)

To go along with this news, part of this press announcement is that they have a new Indy 500 commemorative model, quartz controlled with 3 subdials and date for $895 retail. There is a picture. Click on the link below to go to the Tag Heuer website for the watch.

The second mention is on page 120, in an indepth article on the Valjoux Chronograph Calibers. There is a very nice picture of the black dialed Valjoux 72(6) Heuer Carrera 3 subdial chrono model which beats at 21,000 bph. It is a very interesting article on the history and use of all the Valjoux models by many different companies.
