Turnips and swedes

We're not even always consistent within the UK either.

Take the two root vegetables in the title. In the south, a swede is the larger, with yellow flesh and the smaller turnip has purplish skin and white flesh. Oop north, the names are reversed. How confusing is that?! I wonder if there is a street somewhere where they flip halfway down...

Fortunately, both are equally disgusting so you can just refuse both :D
