"SX" = two or three letter code assigned to brands
In Response To: SX = You mean 5x ()

I believe that it is "SX", the two-letter code indicating a movement in a Heuer.

Below, you will see the AXF and KXF of Abercrombie and Zodiac. I am not sure who assigned the codes, or exactly what they were used for . . . could have been assigned by Heuer internally, to mark the movements that it placed in other brands . . . could have had something to do with the export regulations.

I believe that all our Cal 11 / 12 / 14 / 15 movements had these two-letter or three-letter codes, except some prototypes floating around (like the 28,800 VPH movements).

: Tim,
: It isn't 'SX', it's 5X - They all have them (as far as I'm aware),
: below is a pic of a Cal. 12 I own showing the '5X' stamp.

: PS. It isn't a Siffert.
