This is a reply to Jeff's post; sorry, for some reason the "post response" function doesn't work.
I was offered one of the "suspect" models awhile ago. For me the thing which looked "wrong" was the 2/4/8/10 o'clock markers. If you look at Jeff's photos, the markers at this position on the true version are rectangular and have the same bevel style as the other markers. On the "suspect" model the markers are square and have a "waffle" pattern in the middle.
Can anyone confirm if they have ever seen these type of "square waffle" markers on a Monaco which is known to be correct?
