Scan Day (Nov. 18): Let's Play the Blame Game
It’s been a while since we had a themed Scan Day, so let’s plan one for next Friday, November 18th. Our theme will be “The Blame Game”, and postings should suggest who we “blame” for our watches.
Legendary chronograph collector Chuck Maddox was often the subject of “CMMDI” (Chuck Made Me Do It) accusations, and so we will continue this approach, focusing on who we blame for our watches.
- Did Rich’s book make you buy a Monaco?
- Have you gotten the dive watch disease from Stewart’s blog?
- Craving a Carrera because of Mark?
- Perhaps Peter and Paolo are to blame for an Autavia (or two)?
- Did Paul make you run to the camera shop for this year’s DSLR and to the home supply store for some fluorescent lights?
- Maybe you bought some boots, hoping that David would transform them into beautiful straps?
- Do you blame OnTheDash for the recent divorce?
- Has Abel made you a “gold bug”?
We’ll start the Scan Day next Friday, and run it through the following Monday, November 21st, though we are always relaxed about the start and finish times. Post your message with the subject line, “I Blame [whoever]”.
