I find that among watch enthusiasts, there is ALWAYS someone who will take exception to any stated opinion about a brand.

The poster was asking for an overall opinion on the the brand as the basis of a decision on whether to buy a current model. If you read the chart I referred to, you will have a better perspective on what I meant by my comments.
My comment on them being "pseudo-luxury" was referring to the OVERALL positioning of their current model line in an arbitrary but illustrative grouping used in that chart.

It was not intended as an insult to that brand or to imply that they never in their history made anything exceptional.
