How right you are Peter! This one has a long mention of how the Ferrari Duostop can be used for time and motion studies and then, almost at the end, it throws in a "Oh yeah, you could use it for comparing lap times too" :) Not the correct translation of course, still working on those, but it does show motorsport was pretty much an afterthought in that particular document at least.
