Re: Bezel Autavia 2446 ?
In Response To: Bezel Autavia 2446 ? ()

Hi Olaf - first execution Autavia case (1st and 2nd dial) have a wider bezel than the second execution case which also has a screw back. The catalogues show the minute and the hour bezels. I cannot say that I have ever seen a tachy bezel although these did come with the 2nd execution case. The decimal bezel is a mystery to me. I have seen it on a watch in the Tag Heuer Museum and others posted on the forum. I may have read somewhere that it was a service bezel and they always seem to be in near perfect condition. I do think they look good and suit the watch.
Here mine with a faded minute bezel.
regards
Paul
