But it looked much like it does now. I went out of my way and paid a bit of a premium to find a GMT with a nice dial, nice hands, and nice bezel insert (knowing these items are almost impossible to source or duplicate).
Appearance-wise, Jack refinished the case and relumed the dial and hands. It glows like crazy at night now. I did this with the intention or wearing the watch at all times, even at work (I work 24 hour shifts). The watch looks so nice now, I'm not sure if I dare wear it in a helicopter cockpit.
