This is my set up.. basic, but it works..

Well Lanny, when it comes to my pics, I'm afraid it's hit and miss.
I've said it a few times, I'm no photographer.. for proper advice you want to read up on the 'how to' from Paul Gavin.. http://www.chronocentric.com/forums/heuer/index.cgi?md=read;id=45730

But, my set up is a light tent, and two mini studio lights. I bought a kit on ebay for about £25. Comes with a light tent, x2 lights and a stand for the camera. I didn't say tripod, as it's got a squared off C shaped base, so not quite a tripod.
I hold a piece of black card in the desire position to stop/affect reflections on the glass. Oh, and my camera is a regular Panasonic Lumix point n shoot on macro. (the camera is fairly old, 7 MP, but has a good lens)
Then I take a lot of shots, and pick the best ones & adjust lighting/contrast/colours etc afterwards in photoshop.

This is similar to the kit I bought: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-Portable-Photo-Studio-Tent-Set-Kit-2-lights-and-4-backgrounds-PHT3-/120857449663?pt=UK_Photography_StudioEquipment_RL&hash=item1c23aa54bf
I don't use the tent that comes with that kit - I use this type: (It folds away too): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50-50-50-cm-photo-soft-box-light-tent-cube-softbox-/280728443563?pt=UK_Photography_StudioEquipment_RL&hash=item415cb81aab

So, my exact set up it the tent with one studio light either side of the tent - on the outside, pointing square at the tent - like this: light>..[tent]..
