but also we saw the big register 3646 on Chronotrader near the 5000,
and what about two 2447 Carrera NT on ebay nearly touching the 6000 USD in the last weeks,
with the double-grain Gay Freres twice in the 2000 USD range?
And the pointed V Siffert over 7100 USD?

We all consider these prices high, but many Rolex addicted are approaching the Heuer world,
for them it is a bargain to buy a nicer watch at the fraction of the cost of a crowned one.
