Early Carrera 2447N (Black-on-Black): Sold at $3,494

Well, I had predicted $3,500, so this one came in at a savings of $6.00

So what do we think? Did the engraving on the caseback result in a lower price? And what is the best explanation for the 1963 date, engraved on the case-back of a Carrera (August or November)? Maybe marking some event, after the fact -- wedding? birth?

How do you value this one?

Jeff
