My old Heuer Bund *PIC*
In Response To: 'new' Heuer Bund... ()

Hello Peter,

: this 1550 SG just arrived from a great seller in Hamburg who seems
: to have connections getting these terrific Bund watches... I am
: really enjoying this one!!

New looks perfect.

For a military watch I'd prefer some wabi patina. I was lucky to get offered this used, worn, totally original, but not distressed Bundeswehrchronograph.

: anyone know how to date these from serial number? mine is #1438

This is a rather low number, but many parts are newer, of course. My watch is very early with serial number 49.

Cheers

Mick
