Hi Stewart, if you fancy a classic looking 42mm or 45mm watch you should consider a Panerai Radiomir. I've had a couple and they are lovely watches. They're thinner than a Luminor and sit very well on the wrist. The case shape dates back to the '30's so has a lot of history.
