It's domed, but you can see deformation from the heat generated from the prior buffing so I thought it needs replacing, I'm sure it is plastic but don't know if the crystal should be the same that the siffert model uses..

I haven't received a clear answer indicating the difference in crystal between a siffert, and let's let's suppose an 1163 viceroy, or 1163 o'boy... Are they all using the same crystal? Plastic I mean...and how about the shape out the crystal...
