Buying the Watch (and Buying the Seller)
In Response To: My first vintage Monaco ()

. . . then, of course, there's the aft-repeated advice that "you're not buying the watch, you're buying the seller".

In this case, you have bought a beautiful watch from one of the good-guy sellers!!

: Hi all,
: Yesterday I bought my first vintage Monaco from Jarl (
: http://classicheuers.blogspot.com ). After a few mails I
: decided to meet Jarl and to pick up the watch in person. So,
: yesterday I took the plane to Oslo and had a long chat about
: watches and other stuff with a very friendly Norwegian guy.
: Thanks to Jarl for the ride, the nice chat and the smooth
: transaction.
: Best regards,
: Gianni
