Thanks for the Excellent Suggestion

Jim:

thanks for the excellent Scan Day suggestion. It will give me something to work on over the weekend. Two military favorites come to mind immediately, but maybe I will shoot something different since I have previously posted these two "favorites".

Here's to a great weekend for everyone -- whether celebrating the Memeorial Day holiday here in the US or celebrating a nice spring weekend somewhere else in the world.

: Well, it is the beginning of the 3 day Memorial
: Day weekend holiday in the US, originally
: called Decoration Day(see great history link
: below), where we honor those who have fought
: and died for our country.

: I thought I would propose that to honor those
: people, we could have a Scan Day for anyone
: to show their military style Heuer watch. If
: it has the "Bund" logo on the
: back, let's see that too. So let's see how
: well you can photograph all those black and
: green PVD beauties.

: In addition, if you feel so motivated, let us
: know a bit about how your own relative(s)
: served. These stories can add some meaning
: and impact to the weekend.

: Have a fun and safe weekend.

: PS - I hope everyone outside the US does not
: take offense to this as it was not my intent
: except to have a theme to rally us to take
: some great pictures.
