Re: Quick response

Hi Nick

The Auto Cal 11 was the first lauched around 1969. The manuals came in the mid 70's around 1974. I understand Heuer had some warranty problems with the Cal 11/12s and offered the Val 7736 (3 reg manual wind) to try to limit these problems.

I'm not sure who designed the watch- I'm keen to hear if an idividual can be / has been credited with this, but I expect it was done in house and not by an " industrial designer" of any note.

Cheers

Stewart.
