Guilty until proven innocent?

The dial and hands and movement look good to me. As you say, case has been pretty horribly repolished, and need to paint or replace main second hand. Yes the watch has been relumed, but so was the chromatic siffert in the bonhams auction (worse lump job, IMHO), and that sold for nearly $50k. I think it is a great catch - well done!

I think there is a creeping tendency for people to condemn watches out of hand. It would be nice if we could go back to innocent until proven guilty (for the watch), rather than the reverse which is becoming too much of the norm on internet watch forums.
