Please help?

Hi,

Can I just say this is a great forum, it's partly responsible for me becoming obsessed with all the lovely old Heuer watches, but I wish I'd discovered it BEFORE I bought a French Made Chrono, if I'd known then what I know now I wouldn't have bought it as I suspect now it's not genuine. It has the Champion dial and 1614 stamped on the back, but no Heuer symbol on the crown, also the hands on the subdials appear different from the one shown on this site, is it likley to be a fake?

I am now a bit paranoid about buying any more (especially on Ebay) as seems to be very hard for a "novice" like me to tell the good from the bad.

Thanks in advance,

Al.
