It's sad...being sold as authentic?...

Man, perhaps the owner doesn't realizes it's not really original. That's a bummer.

: Oh gosh, where to start

: - wrong shade of blue for the dial (it looks too violet)
: - double lume dots at 12
: - the remaining lume dots are set too far out on the circular track
: - Heuer sheild wrong size / print type / lacking seriphs / spacing
: - Heuer sheild set too low on the dial
: - non-genuine hour & minute hands (i suspect not even service
: hands as the red line travels the length either side of the thin
: lume)
: - pointy rather than blunt register hands
: - the word Swiss set too close to the bottom register
: - the font of the numerals in the registers vary between looking
: the correct type too wildly different fron an original
: - register print variances in heavy to light print

: Ah there's bound to be more but at least it probably started life
: as a genuine dial as the battons look to be the correct type
: (small consolation for some poor unsuspecting ebay bidder
: beleiving its the real deal).

: Cheers - Darren
