A bit of fool's gold

A few snaps of a new(-ish) acquisition - really like this model. The bracelet is the Heuer bracelet that I believe was designed for this model, really fits the style of the watch well. In the background are a couple of specimens of iron pyrite - or "fool's gold" as it is more commonly known. Maybe that applies to the watch as well...

I was wearing the gold plated Carrera today and my daughter was wearing this reissued "vintage" casio - not a bad place for her to start on the vintage watch ladder...
