Hi Dave,
Off the top of my head, the 253.006 is from the mid 1980's (1984), and is from the Heuer 2000 range. These models were produced under TAG Heuer too, so it may be possible to buy one from TAG Heuer, but it is likely to have TAG Heuer on the clasp. I've got a sneaking feeling that I've got a Heuer bracelet for this model somewhere in my parts drawer - I'll check.
