Yes i beleive this auction was more than likely on the radar of every keen Heuer collector.
Its a very rarely offered model, the origin of the species so to speak.

If anything i beleive the final selling price was a little lower than i had expected, I had guessed it to be above €4000-.
Looking at the auction photo's again i can imagine this watch would come up lovely after a service at the hands of a sympathetic watchmaker.

So my warmest congrats to the new owner & a hearty welcome to the 1st exec. Autavia club.
