Re: OT. I fancy a Rolex GMT.. any owners out there?
I have owned a number of Rolex watches, although never a GMT, and having waited for several years to buy a Stainless Steel Daytona finally bought one last year. The watch is great and has the "its difficult to get" element to it, but in truth, and I know that this will be contentious, its a bit difficult to read the time easily and the lack of a date wheel is a continuing frustration. Further, the chrono function is also a bit cumbersome as you have to unscrew the buttons before you can press them. My favourite, and I have had a couple of them, is still the Submariner; classic looks, easy to read and an instantly recognizable piece; a watch that is difficult to argue with.
