I am not certain whether you have a clock, a 12-hour stopwatch, or both.

The clocks are marked either "Hervue" (from mid-1930's through mid-1950's) or "Heuer / Master Time" (after 1958), and may be co-branded by Abercrombie.

The stopwatches are always marked "Autavia", and were produced over this same time period (mid-1930's through mid-1950's). The earlier ones had the pusher on the left, the later ones had the pusher on the right.

here are photos of a Hervue clock, two Autavias (early on top / later one below) and a Hervue / Autavia pair, probably from the 1950's. we could provide more definitive information if you can provide a photograph -- by e-mail would be fine.
