. . . but so are diamonds and all sorts of other things that companies use to decorate watches. It is absolutely useless to tell the time or to time events, but some people might like the look. My best expert told me that if some "crazy person" wanted a particular bezel, and was willing to buy a large enough quantity at the right price, Heuer was willing to produce them.
