As a "long time" collector of all types of Heuer, however with a specific focus on Autavia, Monaca, Carrera and Camaro I came up with a question regarding the transition from manual driven watches to calibre 11-12 etc versions from the late sixties, early seventies. I guess we all know when the first Autavias, Carreras etc were introduced. There's lots of information on that on OnTheDash such as master reference table and the discussion forum . Or, by studying the sales catalogues from the sixties, seventies etc.

When however were the last manual Carreras, Autavia screw backs and pushbacks produced? Would anyone have a clue? Mark or Jeff maybe?
And for how long were manual Carreras sold parallel to the Cal11/12/15 versions? Same question for Autavias. I first thought that answer may also be answered by studying the catalogues but do not think that is always true as catalogues in many cases only show the new models instead of the complete collection to pick from.

Maybe these questions have been answered, maybe not? If not, always nice to enrich your knowledge on the history of our beloved brand ( by the way,while thinking of that, here's a naughty question: I seem to see a tendency to show more and more Heuer-foreign pieces during the Friday Peek-Show, why is that? Just a matter of temporary widening of horizons, or, new infatuations ? )
