it's a ref. 5513 (acrylic) from 1984, the first year for the white gold lume surrounds... 8.5mil SN... a really nice Sub imho... the orig gloss dial has faded some over the near 30 years to a nice mellow but still reflective finish...

I've always liked the older 60s/70s Subs and never paid much attention to these, but I'm starting to think they are some of the nicest in the 5513 range (esp. with creamy patina :)

a recent ebay find from a Midwest jewelry store... it had all the markings of a one-owner trade-in so I took a chance and got lucky... it came with both orig boxes, tag and bracelet and was completely serviced and pressure-tested by their in-house watchmaker (which the seller even neglected to mention in his auction :) and it also came in quite a bit below current market value, which even makes it sweeter :)

absolutely feels like a keeper ;-)
