In Response To: Can We Ask for a Hint?? ()

The photo was taken in one of the many elevator shafts inspected for safety in the past week. High wind loads exerted by hurricanes such as Sandy usually put lots of stresses specially on curtain walls and elevator shafts, which both are required to be inspected before the buildings are reoccupied. The only way to inspect the shaft walls is standing on top of the elevator cars, which were rode from top floor down to the the basement pit. You better not suffer of claustrophobia if you want to get the job done!

This images was taken at 888 Seventh Ave., across the street from the hanging crane of 157West57th that the whole world has seen.....Both buildings face Central Park South and get hit by the north wind with no obstructions whatsoever....The 4-5 feet swinging of 888 measured at the top 46th floor speaks loud about Sandy's strength ...

Ciao

: OK, so Francesco was in an elevator shaft, looking up . . .
: still not sure where to start in identifying the building.

: Can we have a hint / clue? Number of floors?
