Great photo great post!

This will tell you what an old man I am....I saw Regazzoni win the Italian GB at Monza in 1975. I sat on the top of the old high banked turns for the race as they ran on the new track. I was an exchange student at the University of Bologna at the time. I remember rooting for Mario Andretti but being very happy when Rega won. What I really remember is that I was a little homesick as a 22 year old who had been away from home for almost a year and when I got to Monza on race day it and the people reminded me so much of Speedway, Indiana USA. It seemed to me as if the same folk were walking the streets of this little town and sitting in the stands and the grass and up in the trees around the track. I loved it....and I still do.
