Carrera 1887 in blue

Fans of the Carrera 1887, of which I know there are at least a few here, might like to check out my report on the new blue-dialled version at Cal 11:

The amazing thing for me is how very different it looks in the metal than in the press shots:

Beautifully shot in the press shots, of course, but the evenness of the light makes the dial look a little flat, whereas in real life it's much more lively.
