Bracelet was a nice "plus", but main time-of-day hands should be polished steel, rather than orange, right? That may not be such a big negative, as we can assume that the correct hands can be found. And the watch definitely looked good with these bright orange hands!!

My main concern was that the case may have been over-polished, but it was difficult to tell from the photos (and the seller was non-responsive).

Strength of this auction may be in the fact that there appeared to be four bidders at or above $5,899.

In any event, whoever bought this one can now claim the world's most expensive Skipper!!
