Family Photo -- Three Autavias, Reference 73663

The late model, manual-wind Autavias, Reference 73663, have become a favorite lately, so here is a family photo, showing three of the five versions.

  • The top one is the traditonal Viceroy version, white registers on the black dial, with red highlights and polished markers

  • to the left is another white on black, this one in a military version (with highly-legible white hands)

  • to the right is black on black pilot's watch, sharing some features with the earlier Bundeswehr chronographs

There are two additional versions of the 73663 Autavia (shown below), the black-on-white Siffert version and the black-on-black, with orange trim. These are not yet in the family, but the two shown below are in friendly hands and at the top of my "most wanted" list.

Aren't these great looking chronos!!
