We have recurring questions about the "Sifferts", so last night I pulled out the Sifferts and the camera and shot this. (Sorry about the glare / darkness on the bezels; diffusion will be the next step in my photographic career!!)


These represent the two most common versions of the "Siffert", Reference 1163T. Earlier on the left; later on the right. Key difference is the hands, with polished steel on the earlier one and brushed steel / blue tips and inserts on the later one.

The very first version of the Siffert, with "Chronomatic" on the dial, is the rarest version. Some day, I will hope to see one of those in the metal.
