No, this Carrera was a poster child for the 189. But given the 189 (and 248) was a development of the long-lived 48, it's not all that surprising that there are a lot of mechanical similarities. A large number of parts are interchangeable, obviously apart from the date mechanism in the 189, although that was offset differently in the two executions of Dato 45.
