WOW -- I've looked at a bunch of Heuer chronographs over the last few years, in the metal and on the computer screen, from the dial side and from the movement side. Still, I had never noticed your observation / rule: that there are no Heuer "home-plates" (shields) on the 773X movements. That would seem to be very good evidence that these are fakes. But now I notice the question mark (?) in your message??
