First Version -- Screw-Back

I have never seen this one, in the metal or even in a photograph. But I have confirmed that they were produced.

It seems strange that this one began life with the even-numbered bezel (2-4-6-8-etc.) and then went to all 24 numbers; the automatics went the other direction (24 numbers in the early years, then switched to even-numbers). Maybe it was just shown this way in the catalog?
