Shooting the Works / Found a Shield (Valj 23) *LINK*


Inspired by Jim's suggestion to add more photos to the "Movements" page of OnTheDash (linked below), I took some movement photos tonight. Here are three that I added to the Movements page, including a Valjoux 23 (circa 1960) that has both a Heuer "shield" and the Ed. Heuer lettering.

This Valjoux 23 is from a Reference 404 Chronograph. These genuine shields are very different from the ones being stamped on some of the South American creations.
