Green Dial/ bezel...What do you want a Rolex?

Tag/ Heuer never made a green dial version of the 1000 series, however you can make one by having the dial refinished and having a new bezel made.

Need to find a donor watch (go for poor condition preferably one that has water damage) that way you won't pay much and you can get a new movt as well as have an excuse to refinish the dial.

You might contact international dial co. for help with the dial. Cost is about $25 for dial refinishing.

As for the bezel, there is a guy selling repro bezels on e-bay in blue/ black but might be able to get green (Don't pay too much as the quality isn't great).

A second option you might look into is printing your own bezel on a photo printer and using clear modeling epoxy to glue it to a clear plastic ring cut to the exact shape of the bezel. (I have a friend who did this for an old omega with an etched bezel and it looked very professional).

Anyway, let me know how it turns out.
