Will be Posting About These Soon

I am out of town and away from some of my files. Simple summary: I have been following these timers for around 10 years, and no one has been able to establish any connection between the timers and the filming of Le Mans. I have heard several stories -- mounted on McQueen's 917 [obviously false], held by McQueen to time the filming, held by timing to time the cars, etc. Still, no one has been able to produce any photographic evidence of any of this.

I do believe that the timers were at Le Mans, but I am skeptical about any use in the movie or filming.

I will write more later.

Jeff

: I have a few questions.
: How were these used?
: Which car were they mounted on?
: What were the purposes of different models?
: What is the serial number?
: Any other info?
: Thanks.
