About the crystal of the Heuer ref. 510.543 A. M. I. *PIC*

Hello Bernard,

: Does it still have the original blue glass?

Frankly, I was not aware of the blue color.

If you mean the typical blue color of the anti-reflective coating on watches of that time, I do not see it on the glass of my watch, although it seems to be coated. The shape of the crystal looks correct, it protrudes a fraction of a millimeter.

: Mine has but with lots of scratches and not sure if I should have
: it replaced or not.
: Do you know if it is possible to find those blue glasses?

Sorry, I don't know a source. But maybe a new glass could be coated blueish?

Cheers,

Mick
