I know very little of Minerva but i can say i like that a lot. If i had to take a punt i would guess this watch to be from the 50's. I see what you mean about the style being similar to period Heuers.
I have these two 2447's from the period which i adore.
The tobacco dialled one is a much earlier example by serial & movement numbers ( most probably a late 40's watch )
Whilst this gilt dialled version,with later serial numbers involved, is more likely to be from the 50's.
