Jon I would have agreed with you prior to actually handling the Jack Heuer version. For me the dial uses too many different colours and I dont like the red Heuer logo nor the second hand. I think if it had been a panda dial but without the contrasting chapter ring it may have looked better but it just hurts my eyes looking at it. I am also not a fan of the pushers either to be honest. I think the 1964 re-edition captures the spirit and looks of the classic Carrera far better. But hey each to his own. I am not considering this as an appreciating classic just wanted thoughts on its collectibility.
