Re: PVD'd buckle
In Response To: PVD'd buckle ()

Shaun

I've seen about six or seven original PVD buckles now, I have two myself, both came on small hole corfam bands.

They are super rare for sure, and just like original cases the original finish is "fine" and unlike any re PVD case I have seen.

Nice old find, albeit imo over priced, I would estimate mint ones are at approx £35-40,000 level now.

: Also interesting that the buckle is PVD'd.
: I have seen at least one other black Monaco with a PVD buckle as
: well.
: I am pretty sure this is how the watch was sold at the time.
