By collecting these instead:

Oakley Juliets, made for about 10 years between 1999 and 2009 or so. Some parallels with the Carrera, in the plethora of models that were made, although these are much better documented than the Carreras.

Always been a fan of Oakleys but only been buying Juliets for a year or so. Price-wise, from about £100 up to the price of a French-made or diver Heuer.

They made 43 models in total, so collecting the lot might just be possible - much more so than it would be for Carreras at least!
