Great find and ...

... a great transformation. Frankly, we don't expect any less than perfection when we send something over, do we? And our expectations are always met. That beeing said, the watch is just amazing.

A little sad that all the original provenance and patina is gone. I think a complete service without refurbish would have been my way, but that's highly subjective. As most of the others already mentioned, please put the original insert on it.

Enjoy it, it is by far the most beautiful execution of automatic GMTs.

Best,
Manuel

: Hey George,

: Congratulations on this fantastic watch.
: Btw, have you tried your old insert on the watch after the Abel
: Court overhaul?
: For me that faded insert just looks amazing and is still in a very
: good condition.
: I've also tried the aftermarket inserts from ewatchparts and I
: always end up putting the original back on the watch.
: If you look well you can see the font of the numbers is never
: exactly the same as the original.
: Of course this is just my opinion and it still is your watch. :)
: Kind regards,
: Bernard
